A special thank you from the DJD Fight On Foundation to everyone who gave Christmas donations to the Robbins family. Your generosity helped make the holidays a little brighter for the family. I wish I could send everyone a personal thank you card, but unfortunately too many gifts were left anonomously. Thanks to your generosity and support, the DJD Fight On Foundation has given more than $70,000 to families battling cancer, and continued Derrick's legacy. Thank you
Today marks the 3rd anniversary of Derrick's passing and I can't say that Derrick's family or I do not miss him terribly, but we could have never imagined the outpouring of support for the DJD Fight On Foundation in rememberance of Derrick.All of you who knew Derrick, knew what kind of man he was. The number of families that have been helped becasue of Derrick is a true testament to how inspiring of an individual he was. Thank you to everyone who helps conitnue Derrick's mission and helps his legacy live on! We all are blessed to have our lives touched by such a man, who looked at adversity, and instead of feeling sorry for himself, asked how he could help others who were less fortunate than him. Thank you Derrick for reminding us what is important in life- to be grateful for what we have, and to give back when we can. Your memory lives on, and you will forever remind us not to sweat the small stuff. We love you~
