Thank you
Today marks the 3rd anniversary of Derrick's passing and I can't say that Derrick's family or I do not miss him terribly, but we could have never imagined the outpouring of support for the DJD Fight On Foundation in rememberance of Derrick.All of you who knew Derrick, knew what kind of man he was. The number of families that have been helped becasue of Derrick is a true testament to how inspiring of an individual he was. Thank you to everyone who helps conitnue Derrick's mission and helps his legacy live on! We all are blessed to have our lives touched by such a man, who looked at adversity, and instead of feeling sorry for himself, asked how he could help others who were less fortunate than him. Thank you Derrick for reminding us what is important in life- to be grateful for what we have, and to give back when we can. Your memory lives on, and you will forever remind us not to sweat the small stuff. We love you~

thinking of you all today!!! and especially remembering derrick and what an inspiration he was and is to us all:) i just can't wait to see what his role is in heaven! bet it is something amazing!! so glad that his life lives on forever through the djd foundation. what a blessing you all are to so many people!! love you all, mike and nancy
