I just got an email from one of my really good friends, who signed up at my bone marrow drive, that she has also been contacted to be a bone marrow donor for someone. This is such exciting news! I am so glad that because of Derrick, so people will have a second chance! Marcy is going to have a bone marrow drive at her school in Ohio. I hope she gets a HUGE turnout. An update on marathon training... I was able to run 8 miles ( in a row hahah!) for the first time. I will try 10 miles this weekend, and before long I will be at 26.2!!!! I have a LONG way to go! Let me know if you'd like a ticket to the benefit party for the marathon. Hope everyone has a great weekend!
In other news, I got really sad news today that the little boy, Hudson passed away. Please keep his family in your prayers, as I am sure thsi is a very difficult time for them.

Sorry to hear about the little boy. I will pray for his family. On a happy note, how cool is it that your friend is being a donor. Also keep up the great work with your running. I could not even run 1 mile!!! You always have been an inspiration to me. Love ya,
