Derrick and Mindy have been enjoying spending some time up at their apartment in Lewisburg. They left Ephrata last Monday and plan to stay there until this Friday. While there, they can catch up with some friends in the area and visit with Mindy's family. They aren't able to post anything to the blog while there because they disconnected their internet service, so I am filling in for Derrick until he comes home on Friday.
Tomorrow Derrick has an appt. at Hershey for a CT scan to determine the status of his pneumonia. He should know the results from the test on Tuesday. Also, the most recent donor that has been found has still not been secured. What this means is that the donor has not confirmed that he can be at the donation site on the days requested. Please continue to pray that his pneumonia has cleared up, that he stays in remission, and that the new donor confirms so that Derrick can proceed with the stem cell transplant.
Thanks again to everyone who has supported our family in so many ways. We continue to be amazed daily by your kind words, delivery of meals and other goodies, cards, emotional and financial support, and most of all your prayers.
