Day +69
Today I had a visit with my doctor, and our meeting went very well. For the first time ever, all my counts were in a normal range, my WBC was up at 4 which is the bottom of the normal range. This was an awesome apt. my doctor was very pleased with how everything is progressing and where we are at. So give God a big praise in your prayers for a great meeting today. The Phillies start October playoffs tomorrow, GO PHILS. Markets rebounded a little today which was good to see I didn't want to see another 777 crash. Appetite is coming back little by little, still not really ever hungry but I feel like I'm able to eat a little bit more each week.

so glad to hear that you had an awesome appt. Praise God from whom all blessings flow!!!! i imagine sometimes it seems slow to see progress but at least you continue to be constantly moving in the right direction. you two surely have learned to appreciate the very small things as well as the things that we all so often take for granted. everyday so many of us don't think about how we can taste our food, or feel our hungry bellies, or be able to eat just about anything that we wish to have and enjoy. the day will come when you will be hungry again and truly be able to enjoy each and every bite. can you smell how wonderful foods smell?? keep on keepin on, derrick!! you guys have come so far and are in the home stretch!!! God loves you both so much, His heart burns for you and we love you, too, mike and nancy and family
AWESOME NEWS to say the least! Keep on playing that guitar hero and maybe they'll go up even more. As if you didn't already know that game is very addicting! I hope NYC is pretty this time of year, if you can see the changes happening. Talk to you soon
