Just checking in from Memorial Sloan Kettering... Today was mostly spent resting and recovering from a busy couple of days. Derrick's white blood cells started to come down a little today which was a good sign. We give thanks and praise to God for that! We are just praying that he continues to respond to the treatment. We are also praying that this donor gets lined up to donate again, or we get a better donor, whichever is better ( God knows!). Our amazing photographer, Greta and her husband Mike, set up a website with our wedding pictures on it, so by popular request, I thought I'd give you the link. The pictures help to capture the most magical perfect day of both mine and my husband's (hehe..I had to say that!) lives so far. Derrick and I cried pretty much the whole time, but they were definately tears of joy. I will never forget the first time I saw Derrick as I walked down the aisle, he was absolutely gorgeous. We wished everyone could have been there, but you all were definately in our hearts. We absolutely can not thank everyone enough for the time and effort put into a wedding five days in advance! Hope everyone enjoys the pictures. We love you all, and thank you all for your continued prayers!
God Bless,
Mindy

Hello,
I graduated from Ephrata High School in 2000. Although I don’t remember you from school I was somewhat of an acquaintance to your sister. She is a friend with Kati Stevens and I used to work for her parents Jason and Annette. I saw her around a few times as well as in the Ephrata Review a lot. And that’s when I learned about you. I read your article and jumped online to the blog and have been checking it just about every time I go online. Anyway, congratulations on marriage! It truly sounds like you and Mindy were meant to be as she’s been with you through a lot. I just wanted to say that you have had an amazing attitude and KEEP IT UP! Also, just this year I have started going to church fulltime for the first time in my life and I enjoy the closing prayers on the blog. Both you and Mindy have been a blessing in my life although I have never met you. Just keep your tenacity, awesome positive attitude and faith in the lord and you’ll be just fine. You are in my prayers.

The for sharing your pictures. The wedding looks like it was a beautiful day. You guys are so blessed to have each other.

Hello,
You don't know me but I've followed your blog for a while now. I think I found the link from "Journal of a Prizefighter" (a website about a relapsed Hodgkins' Lymphoma patient who had an allo transplant). I just wanted to say how truly inspirational your story is and how so many of us going through difficult times can learn from the two of you.
I really do hope that this next transplant gives you the cure you are looking for so that the two of have a long & healthy future together.
With Love,
Cathy
hello derrick and mindy or should i say mr. and mrs. derrick james dull???,
anyways thanks so much for the link for your pics. we can't wait to look at them!!! glad to hear that your white blood cell count is going down. your mom said that you were resting comfortably yesterday so that is good. we are praying that the new chemo does its stuff and that God will have the perfect donor for your next transplant!!! it is hard to understand why the change in your recovery but recently someone told me that God's will hath no WHY!!!! i guess that means that we need not question but try our best to just know that this is all in God's plan and definitely in His capable hands!! so instead of me asking Him, why God , we are just asking Him for yet one more miracle for you derrick!! HE can definitely do it and you are definitely worth it!! You and Mindy Dull have alot more lives to touch and many more people to give hope to and show them what true love is all about!!!if people don't have faith i guess they just need a little lesson from you two!!! stay strong and reach for GOD in those tough moments because He is always there just waiting for all of us to spend time with HIM!!! we love you MARRIED guys, mike, nancy, and family

Your story brings tears to my eyes every time I read this blog...Everyone always says what an inspiration you both are, and I truly hope you believe that. I think of you guys often when little things go wrong and I realize how strong you two have been, and it makes me not worry so much about the little things. Mindy, you looked amazing on your wedding day! And Derrick, you were handsome as always…congratulations again to The Dulls. :)

PS: Donna and Marcy you looked beautiful too! (Oh sorry- you too Jim!)
Derrick and Mindy,
Thanks for sharing the pictures of the wedding. You both look GREAT! Derrick it is like I told you back in January, I think the Lord is using you and Mindy to spend his love and faith, and what a wonderful job you are doing. I know the road has been long with ups and downs, but he is working through you, to that there is no doubt. Look at Justin Bauman's log on the blog! WOW!!! We will keep waiting and believing you will be our miracle. Philippians 4:67 Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your heart and your mind in Christ Jesus.
Much Love and Prayers
