Well tomorrow is my transplant, wow I can't believe this day has arrived so quickly, it seems like just yesterday I was admitted at Hershey for all sorts of problems after my chemo. Today I finished my second day of cytoxan chemo and also my second and last day of ATG, the horse serum. I threw up this morning right as I woke up at like 5am but I progressively began feeling better throughout the rest of the day. As I am typing this now I feel very well. Doctors have said that the next few days should be the hardest days. I can not ask everyone to pray enough that the new donor cells going into my body graft and start producing new clean cells. I will probably remain in the hospital for about another 4 weeks if all goes well until all my counts recover. So tomorrow is the big day.....hope all goes well.
One night a man had a dream. He dreamt he was walking along the beach with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from this life. For each scene, he noticed two set of footprints in the sand: one belonging to him, and the other to the Lord. When the last scene of his life flashed before him, he looked back at the footprints in the sand. He noticed that many times along the path of his life there was only one set of footprints. He also noticed that it happened at the very lowest and saddest times in his life. This really bothered him and he questioned the Lord about it. "Lord, you said that once I decided to follow you, you'd walk with me all the way. But I have noticed that during the most troublesome times in my life, there is only one set of footprints. I don't understand why when I needed you most you would leave me." The Lord replied, "My son, my precious child, I love you and would never leave you. During you times of trial and suffering, when you see only one set of footprints, it was then that I carried you."

Hello, I don't know you but I posted once before. My mom had a BMT in Hershey in 1997. Praying that your transplant goes well tomorrow. Stay strong and remember "relentless".
