feeling better

Today was a much better day for Derrick than he's had in quite awhile. He woke up without a fever and basically went all day without one until this evening, and even then the fever was minor and he was able to break it very soon after it started. He obeyed all his doctors orders and did several rounds of laps around the nurses station, used his hand-held breathing oxenometer, and even ate a thinly sliced steak (yum yum). All of his blood counts seem to be recovering at a good pace and we believe he is finely turning the corner.
